Alex Gardner - Class of '11
The Brothers of the Delta Epsilon chapter have certainly had a busy semester. On top of receiving an informal pledge class of seven outstanding young men, DE is feeling a sense of renewal through its treasured hallways. “The power of love” is good and well at the University of Puget Sound as the Brothers here are doing their best to rekindle relationships with our Brother Alumni.
After being placed “Under Re-organization” last winter, Delta Epsilon has had to integrate 11 sophomores into leadership positions and they have excelled. Last spring, the Chapter raised over $3,700 at Relay for Life for cancer research. Beta was tied for third in donations with Pi Beta Phi out of some 40 teams from Puget Sound. Our alumni also raised $500 for the cause.
The Delta Epsilon chapter has a very diverse membership, even in our small numbers. We have members who are apart of ASUPS, theater, Musical Ensembles, Lacrosse, Campus Visit Program, Phi Eta Sigma Honors society, and much more.
